We wanted to call your attention to a new release on Metropolis Records, Electronic Saviors: Industrial Music to Cure Cancer. All proceeds from this 4-disc box/digital set go to the Center For Cancer Research and Wellness in Harrisburg, PA. Tucked away on disc 4 is a collaboration between Peter and NYC band Hypefactor, the Rex Mix of The Sweetest Soul.

You can pick up the entire set or the single track here--either way, it's a groovy slice of electronic pop for which your player would gladly make room.

Not a worry as we're ensconced in the studio beavering away at the last round of sessions for our LP. We've begun adding some short video clips to a new feature on the site, From the Studio, where you'll hear snatches of the tracks in the making. In the latest, Michael tackles the solo to Hotblooded--and if you don't blink you'll catch a glimpse of the studio manager making his rounds...

...for an evening of "post-punk indulgences", as this outing has been billed by the good people of 200 Orchard. Join us this Friday the 29th for a great complementary live pairing of The Dossier and the furious shoegazing heroics of Autodrone.

DJ's Yamil, Michael T, and DJ Bastard handle the tunes, Darenzia hosts, and an open PBR bar from 11pm-midnight washes it all down nicely. We'll have new material in the set and would love to see you--The Dossier on at 10:30pm.

Yes, New York City is in an icy deathgrip at the start of 2010--all the more reason to throw on your muffler and get down to an evening sure to thaw out your freezing little soul!

Well, complete with blizzard-like conditions here in NYC it seems the season is upon us. We wanted to give a quick thanks to all of you who have come out to shows this year or otherwise followed our progress.

We'll be back in 2010 with more free downloads, some fresh shows in January, new video clips from the studio, semi-random tweets, and maybe even the full-length record we've been marinating in the kitchen for some time now. Stay tuned...and be sure to spike the egg nog.

Though we wouldn't expect or wish the same of Gil Mantera's Party Dream, whom we have the pleasure of opening for Thursday December 3 at Europa in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Gil and Ultimate Donny have their own totally unique take on electronic pop and performance and we can only hope to do our best to keep up. Trousers optional, 18+, doors 9pm, we're on 10pm.

Hot on the heels of playing a Boston club night institution, we return to our own stomping grounds for a show Saturday October 17 at Tiswas, another decade-plus nightlife success story, newly back at its spiritual home Don Hills on the west side of lower Manhattan. As always captain Nick Marc is at the helm along with Spiky Phil and the ubiquitous Jess, joined this time around by nightlife doyenne and Tiswas alumnus Justine D on the decks. A reunion, a collision of what was, what is--join us Saturday night for all that.
